Wat Prathat Doi Suthep the most sacred temple in Chiangmai , just 15 kms from the city and 3,500 ft. above sea level. The scenic road takes you up the mountain to the National park of Doi Pui. If you want to walk up the 300 stairs you will see the marvelous golden pagoda which contains the relics of the Lord Buddha.This is also a very sacred and frequent visited religious site for Thai Buddhists. Local Thai lunch en route. After lunch we continue to visit the important temples in Chiangmai, Wat Suan Dok ,Wat Chiang Mun ,Wat Chediluang and Wat Phrasing, and back to the hotel. |

09.00: Our local guide will meet you at the hotel in Chiang Mai and drive up to the top of the mountain to visit the most important temple of Chiang Mai city,this is also a very sacred and frequent visited religious site for Thai Buddhists. Afterwards we will drive back down to Chiang Mai town for lunch. After lunch drive around the Chiang Mai's old city area to visit some of the most interesting temples, a part of Chiang Mai history, tour conclude at the hotel.

09.00: Our local guide will meet you at the hotel in Chiang Mai town, drive to visit Thailand’s highest peak (2,565 meters above sea level), The Inthanon Mountain is the part of Himalaya Mountain where you can enjoy the differences of flora, fauna, the rain forest with the beautiful rhododendron and attractive scenery. Visit the twin pagodas which the Thai people built for the king and the queen. Then visit hilltribe market and stop for lunch at local restaurant. After lunch take a short walk along the nature to visit the most beautiful waterfall called “Vachirathan Waterfall”. After relax around the water fall drive you back to the hotel in Chiang mai.

| Ancient City of Chiang Mai & Lumphun |
The ancient city of Wiang Kum Kam was situated in the vast plains of the far north of the country, the earliest historical settlement in the Chiang Mai area. Archaeological remains excavated at the site, such as the stone tablets with Mon inscriptions, pottery, earthenware moulds, Buddhist sculpture and architecture, suggest that there has been a long and continuous history of settlement in the area dating back to the 8th century Haripunchai era.
Lumphun city Legend handed down for more than 1,400 years refer to this ancient town as Hariphunchai. Its first ruler was Queen Chamthewi who was of Mon extraction. In late 12th century, King Mengrai overran the town and subsequently integrated it into the Lanna Kingdom.
